“We are simply not provided with wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves, after a journey through the wilderness which no one else can take for us, an effort which no one can spare us, for our wisdom is the point of view from which we come at last to regard the world.”
Sam: Do you believe in love at first sight? Cait: umm.. You know what no, I don’t. I believe in, lust at first sight. But I think love takes time to grow and develop
So they banged it out before falling head over heels.
Pretty much what I got from the exchange too. 😜
Reblogging because I just read @trixenfic’s latest chapter – and I see what you did there! 😁💁🏼
Currently, they can have quite a bit, it just depends on the contract (look up the marvel/dc comics contract terms, crazy strict down to you can only eat the food they provide for you).
One example, often they’ll not allow certain “dangerous” behaviors (motorcycles, skydiving, who knows, because it’s a risk to lose their main actor to injury. most of us take a better to ask forgiveness than permission attitude in this regard. like, if my contract says “no motorcycles on highways or similarly risky behaviors” I’m not going to ask if horseback riding is considered “risky,” I’m going to do it and hope I don’t get tossed face-first in to a fence)
Back when actors were directly contracted to studios it was really bad; it’s better now but depending on the contract, the size of the role, and how big the project is, they can still have a lot of say. This is why I’m so adamant that you always always always read your contracts thoroughly because you can get stuck for years if you don’t.
But for real look up the “rules” for marvel actors.
